Ecology of invasive species

This research focuses on understanding the ecological and evolutionary processes that lead to the successful establishment and spread of invasive species and the impacts they have on ecosystems and biodiversity. We conduct studies on a broad range of invaders, such as crabs, gastropods and macrophytes. Emerging research involves investigating the role sediment microorganisms play in the success of invasive marine macrophytes. For more information contact A/Prof. Paul Gribben.
